Starting with polenta which is topped with bacon or trying the shaved cheese, topped usually with egg and served with delicious sour cream, or choosing the in-house special version of sarmale, the cabbage leaves are stuffed with meat and served (naturally) with polenta. The menu is not extremely complicated, trying to keep happy both the unadventurous and experimental-type of guests; chicken fillet has an excellent recipe being stuffed with Roquefort and wrapped up with bacon and/or Parmesan; you get the braised ducking served with sauerkraut. When it comes to grilled duck, you can taste it in an interesting combination with cherry sauce. If you like fish, it is available always at daily market price; the swordfish is fried gently in olive oil. At the end you can try the nougat glace with maple syrup and egg custard.
